    About

Freestyle wrestling is a combat sport where two fighters try to gain control over each other through the use of throws, locks, leg trips, and clinching techniques. Unlike Greco-Roman, which only allows the use of the upper body, all Freestyle holds can involve the legs in order to take an opponent down and ultimately pin their opponent's shoulders on the mat. If a wrestler manages to do so, victory by "fall" is given if not the match continues until the end of the regular time and the winner is decided according to the technical points scored. Freestyle wrestling is one of the core components of modern MMA giving the superior wrestler the ability to dictate where the fight takes place.

Here in one of our 90 minute long classes you will be led through a tough, technical class that will push physically and help you progress in the sport. Whether you are a complete amateur or a professional Fightzone London is the place for you.
